My experience spans hospital/facility-to-home transitions, moves from home into assisted living or skilled nursing, caregiver training, long-term care management, hospice care and medication oversight for adults with chronic conditions and geriatrics with a focus on dementia. My approach is family-centered and practical: I listen first, then help you choose realistic next steps and advocate for your aging loved one with clear, honest guidance.

Do you take insurance? How does payment work?

Most RN consulting and care management is private pay, and I’m no exception. Some families use HSA/FSA funds or submit receipts to long-term care insurance if their policy allows it. We’ll talk through pricing, what you actually need, and whether I’m the right fit during a brief free call—no pressure, just clarity.

How do I know if it’s time to reach out for help?

If you’re repeating the same crisis (falls, hospital visits, meds confusion, wandering, sleepless nights) or family arguments are getting worse, it’s time. I’m most useful when you’re thinking, “Something has to change, but I don’t know what’s realistic anymore.” You don’t have to wait for a disaster—earlier is better, and we can start with one focused session.

What exactly do you do as a geriatric care consultant and RN?

I’m a geriatric care consultant who is also a Registered Nurse. I sit down with you, listen to the full story, and turn it into a workable plan. That usually means: reviewing safety, symptoms, and medications explaining what’s really going on in clear, everyday language mapping out realistic options (staying home, adding support, or moving to assisted living or skilled nursing) helping you communicate with doctors, agencies, and the rest of the family I don’t replace your doctor or home care team—I help you connect the dots, see a few steps ahead, and stop managing all of this alone in your head.
